Some of you may be asking this exact question. Why would you start a blog, why Journey in Light, and everything behind the why.
I have a brief summarization on my website, but I wanted something where I could dig a little deeper. Hopefully, you'll be able to see my heart and desires!
Over the past 6 years or so, I've wanted to start a blog or some kind of creative outlet to just share my thoughts about anything and everything. With the encouragement of my fiancé, sister-in-law, and best friend I took the leap of faith in January. One of my words of the year being bold, I figured this would be the best way to take that step. It started as a Instagram page and moved to a blog maybe a month or so ago!
Journey in Light in the simplest sense is just showing Christ in every part of my life. The light portion is showing the light of Christ in my life. John 8:12 says, "Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.""
My heart has always been to support others and encourage other people the best way that I can. It's important to take the things we go through and being open enough to share them with others. In the moment, it can be hard to understand why we may be experiencing it, but our own hills and valleys may not be for our understanding. We can be used as a vessel to speak life into other people especially if they go through similar circumstances.
I pray that I continue to be used for His glory with this small platform I may have.
